The Arado Ar 68 was one of the last biplane fighters used by German air forces before the widespread introduction of modern monoplanes. The Ar 68E version belongs to this transitional period of the second half of the 1930s. Its silhouette, defined by its two wing planes, fixed landing gear, and in-line engine, offers a different concept from the more well-known German fighters of the Second World War.
