Reims FTB337G Lynx "Bush war", 1/32 - Roden 628
The reference Roden 628 recreates the Reims FTB337G Lynx « Bush War », a light military aircraft to build in 1/32. This plastic kit offers an interpretation of the Lynx used in Southern Africa during the period covered by the markings provided.
The Reims FTB337G Lynx
The Lynx is derived from the Cessna 337, a twin-engine aircraft recognizable by its configuration with one engine at the front and a second at the rear of the fuselage, as well as by its tail assembly supported by two booms. The version built by Reims-Cessna in France was designated FTB337G Lynx. These aircraft were used in particular for military missions in Southern Africa.
Decals offered
The decal sheet lets you build three aircraft:
- FTB337G Lynx of the RhAF, late 1979 ;
- FTB337G Lynx of the Air Force of Zimbabwe, October 1981 ;
- FTB337G Lynx of the Air Force of Zimbabwe, late 1982.
Assembly and finishing
At 1/32 scale, this model provides a large-scale depiction of a light aircraft with an unusual architecture. Building a plastic kit requires the use of suitable glue, cutting tools, and finishing products. Primer generally helps prepare the surfaces before painting, while careful application of the decals makes it possible to reproduce the markings of the aircraft shown in the decals offered.
