The Soviet Komintern Artillery Tractor model kit from Trumpeter, reference 05540, faithfully reproduces at 1/35 a Soviet tracked artillery tractor. This plastic kit to be assembled lets you depict a military support vehicle designed to tow artillery pieces.

The Komintern was produced from 1935 to 1941. Based on suspension elements taken from Soviet tanks T-12 and T-24, it was used to tow medium artillery pieces, including the 152 mm ML-20 howitzer-gun. Its distinctive architecture, combining a tracked running gear, a cab, and a separate engine compartment, makes it an interesting subject for a Soviet logistics or artillery scene.
