The JGSDF Type 87 Reconnaissance Vehicle by Trumpeter, reference 00327, is a static injection-molded plastic model kit in the 1/35 scale. It reproduces the Type 87 reconnaissance vehicle used by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, or JGSDF.

The Type 87 vehicle

The Type 87 is a Japanese wheeled reconnaissance vehicle. Its design combines an armored hull with a two-man turret armed with a 25 mm cannon and a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun. This subject provides an interesting base for a collection devoted to modern Japanese military vehicles or post-war wheeled armored vehicles.

The Trumpeter 00327 model kit
