Teardrop Sponge - 2 pcs. AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-8562 is a set of two tear-drop shaped sponges designed for finishing work on static scale models. They are made for the controlled application and removal of pigments and washes.

The soft material lets you work on painted surfaces and delicate details. The teardrop shape makes it easy to reach different areas of a vehicle, aircraft, figure, or scenery element—so you can blend effects, smooth transitions, or remove excess product.

To clean a wash, let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes, then gently apply the sponge to the surface. Several light passes let you progressively fine-tune the result. With pigments and enamel thinner, allow the thinner to dry before working the effect; dry pigments can be used immediately.

These sponges can also be cut with scissors or a precision hobby knife to create a shape suited to a specific area. Using them is recommended on satin or glossy surfaces when working with washes and pigments.
