Sanding Sponge Sheet (280) - 2 pcs. AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-8558 is a set of two abrasive sheets on a foam backing, designed for finishing work in static scale modeling. Its 280 grit is ideal for refining surfaces that have already been prepared with coarser abrasives.

The flexibility of the backing helps to follow rounded shapes as well as areas that are less accessible. These sheets can be used on plastic, resin, metal and wood. They are also suitable for removing traces of glue or putty around joints after they have been prepared.

The abrasive can be used dry or moistened with water. You can cut out a suitable portion for the area to be treated; the grit is printed on the back to keep clear identification even after cutting.

280 grit is particularly useful for leveling a surface before the finishing steps and for touch-ups on clear parts prior to polishing.
