Water effect for diorama

Its translucent finish helps create a sense of depth and a natural-looking water color. Its consistency allows application on different surfaces, including slanted areas. The drying time gives you the chance to work the surface in order to form water motion, little ripples, or other raised-texture effects.

Application and finishing

For a controlled result, it is recommended to prepare and paint the background of the water area before applying the gel. The product can then be spread with a palette knife and worked during drying using sculpting tools, toothpicks, or old paintbrushes. Applying it in thin layers helps achieve an even finish.

Lake Waters can be mixed with other products from the same range or with a small amount of acrylic paint to slightly adjust the tint. It can also be thinned with water or an acrylic thinner to change its consistency. Drying time is stated as 24 hours, and tools clean up with water.
