MUD SET AK Interactive AK061 is a weathering products set designed to reproduce mud effects on static model kits, figurines, and scenery. Made from enamel-based formulation, it brings together three complementary earth tones to vary the look of the grime, from fresh mud to drier or darker areas.

The set includes the references AK016 Fresh Mud, AK017 Earth Effects, and AK023 Dark Mud. Combining them makes it possible to work on wheels, running gear, tracks, lower hull sections, wheel arches, diorama surfaces, or figurine bases with consistent ground-nuance shades.

These effects can be applied with a brush to lay down, pull, or accumulate the material on exposed areas. They can also be mixed with plaster to increase the volume of mud deposits. To create splatters, the mixture can be loaded onto a brush and dispersed using short pulses of directed air toward the bristles.
