WEATHERING EFFECTS SET – AK GOUACHES AKG25 is a set of AK Interactive weathering paints designed for finishing static model kits and dioramas. This box brings together six AK Gouache shades in 20 ml tubes, selected to create effects of rust, grime, and contrast.

AK Gouache paints combine opaque pigments with an acrylic resin. They are water-based and let you adjust the intensity of the effects through layering, dilution, or localized touch-ups. Their matte finish is suitable for depicting traces of use, deposits, and rust nuances on vehicles, military equipment, scenery, or diorama elements.

The AKG25 set includes the following six references :

• AKG01 Snow White
• AKG02 Black
• AKG09 Fresh Rust
• AKG10 Old Rust
• AKG11 Medium Rust
• AKG12 Grime

The three rust tones allow you to vary the effects, from relatively fresh oxidation to older, more weathered areas. The black, white, and Grime shade complete the palette to create contrast, emphasize certain details, or enhance grime.

After drying, AK Gouaches can be reactivated with water, making it easier to work the weathering progressively. Applying with a brush in particular helps you precisely control traces, deposits, and localized effects. A suitable primer and base paint for the surface remain useful to prepare a neat model finish.
