Carving Foam 10 mm A4 AK Interactive AK8094 is a phenolic foam board designed for creating and detailing model sets, dioramas, and vignettes. Its A4 format measures 305 x 228 mm with a thickness of 10 mm.

Stiffer and more resistant than the brand’s Construction Foam, this sculpting foam features a fine grain suited to reproducing precise details. It is particularly suitable for making buildings, walls, ruins, facades, paving stones, and other architectural elements at scale.

The material can be cut with a sharp craft knife or a small saw, then carved using cutting or pressing tools. The surface can also be sanded to achieve a smoother finish. The sculpted shapes remain in place after carving.

The Carving Foam AK8094 can be combined with other foams, cork, plastic, metal, and other modeling materials. For assembling multiple foam parts, vinyl glue or gel cyanoacrylate glue can be used. Painting is possible with acrylic paints; applying a spray primer makes surface preparation easier.
