The MER 1/72 Eduard Accessories ref. 672119 accessory is a Brassin set designed to enhance the detailing of military aircraft model kits in 1/72 scale. It reproduces multiple MER bomb racks, to enrich the representation of underwing or fuselage ordnance carriage.
The set includes three MER pylons, made in resin, with a total of 15 parts. Decals and phot-etched details are also provided. At 1/72 scale, every dimension of the real equipment is reduced 72 times.
A MER, for Multiple Ejector Rack, is an ordnance mounting system that allows several munitions to be carried on a single pylon. This accessory is a detailing solution to customize the weapons configuration of a compatible 1/72 aircraft model.
Assembly and finishing
The resin parts require careful preparation before assembly. A glue suitable for resin and photo-etched parts is recommended. Applying a primer then makes painting and decal preparation easier.
