It‘s very compact size certainly contributes towards its safety. It is protected by a very hard armor plating structure, by components which are added according to needs (evolutional protection) and by electronic countermeasures. The 1500 HP of its power unit ensures it great mobility on cross-country (an average of 40 to 50 km/h) and a maximum speed of 70 km/h. It has a range of 500 to 650 km thanks to its 1300 l fuel tanks and to its 400 l disposable supplementary fuel tanks.
