Tracks for T 34 / 85 Waffelmuster, 1/35 - Friulmodel ATL-009

Friulmodel ATL-009 is a set of articulated metal tracks at 1/35 scale for T-34/85, SU-85 and SU-100 model kits. This reference reproduces the Waffelmuster track pattern and is a detailing accessory for military vehicles at this scale.

The set includes 170 links as well as a metal wire used to create the articulation pins. Once assembled, the tracks remain movable and allow you to naturally replicate their sag and routing around the drive sprockets, road wheels and idler wheels of the model.

Assembly requires preparing the links and then connecting them using the supplied wire. To follow the arrangement intended for this reference, links with and without guiding teeth must be installed alternately. Precision tools, such as a fine cutting pliers and a flat-nose pliers, make handling the pins easier.

The metal tracks can be painted with a suitable primer, then worked with steel tones, washes, and dust or mud effects to blend everything into the finishing of a Soviet armored vehicle. They are ideal for a 1/35 detailing project dedicated to the T-34/85, SU-85 or SU-100.
