ATOM RAF WWII Late Colors Set - AMMO by MIG Jimenez ATOM-20905
ATOM RAF WWII Late Colors Set by AMMO by MIG Jimenez, reference ATOM-20905, is an assortment of four ATOM acrylic paints in 20 ml bottles. It is designed for coloring British Coastal Command aircraft during the Second World War, including subjects such as the Bristol Beaufighter, the Vickers Wellington, or the Fairey Swordfish.
The ATOM range is based on a water-based formula that is suitable for both brush application and airbrushing. The paints can be used directly from the bottle or thinned with ATOM-20500 thinner. The vertical dropper packaging makes it easier to dose when preparing shades and mixes.
The four included colors allow you to build a consistent base for late-war RAF liveries:
- ATOM-20076 ATOM COLOR IJA Nakajima Green
- ATOM-20135 ATOM COLOR Grey
- ATOM-20137 ATOM COLOR Ocean Grey
- ATOM-20140 ATOM COLOR Sky Green
Before painting, careful surface preparation of the model—removing any sanding marks and applying a suitable primer if needed—helps achieve a consistent finish. For aircraft-style finishes, the tones can then be modulated with light coats, washes, or controlled weathering techniques to highlight the structure lines and the model’s wear and aging.
