Aluminium Tape 10mm x 10M AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-8250 is an aluminium adhesive tape designed for static scale modelling. 10 mm wide and supplied on a 10-metre roll, it allows you to reproduce aluminium-style metal finishes on models and detailing elements.

Its surface can be darkened and then polished with a very fine abrasive or polishing tools in order to adjust the metallic look. This 10 mm format is particularly suitable for making strips, panels, claddings and details that call for an aluminium finish.

Use in scale modelling

The tape is cut using a sharp blade on a suitable cutting mat. Careful surface preparation and progressive application make it easier to achieve a consistent result, including on small details. The darkening can be done gently to follow the reliefs of the part.

To preserve the sharpness of the finish, it is recommended to handle the tape with clean tools and work on a correctly prepared surface.
