The set Flexand Double Sided Sanding Sponge AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-8571 combines four double-sided abrasive sponges designed for sanding work in static scale modelling.

Each sponge measures 7.5 × 3.5 cm and features two grit levels: 100 on one side and 180 on the other. Their foam backing provides the right level of rigidity for working on hard-to-reach areas, as well as for removing material from scale model parts.

These abrasives can be used on plastic, resin, metal and wood. They are particularly suitable for removing glue marks, levelling filled seams, taking off mould lines/burrs and preparing surfaces before finishing steps.

The sponges can be used dry or moistened with water. They can also be cut to the required size to adapt the abrasive to the area to be treated. The grit is printed on the back across the entire surface, making it easy to identify even after cutting.
