The Aluminium Sheets 280 x 195 mm AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-8247 are self-adhesive sheets designed to replicate aluminium finishes on static scale models and their detailing elements.

The set includes 5 sheets of 280 x 195 mm. The material can be cut to the desired size to cover panels, hatches or details whose metallic look must remain visible. The self-adhesive surface allows direct application after preparing the substrate.

Use in scale modelling

Before applying, the surface must be clean and degreased. After removing the protective paper, the sheet is placed on the selected area and conforms to the reliefs by applying progressive pressure using a cotton swab or a flexible tool. The use of metal tools should be avoided to prevent marking the finish.

A thin, well-sharpened blade makes it possible to cut out the contours and remove excess material. The aluminium sheets can then be painted and treated with weathering or ageing products to blend the part into the overall look of the model.
