I-16 type 5 (in the sky of Spain late version), 1/48 - Clear Prop Models CP4822

The Clear Prop Models CP4822 kit lets you assemble a 1/48 Polikarpov I-16 type 5 in a late configuration associated with air operations over Spain. This plastic kit depicts one of the most characteristic Soviet fighter aircraft from the period of the Spanish Civil War.

The Polikarpov I-16 was a low-wing monoplane fighter used by the Spanish Republican forces under the name “Mosca”. Its compact silhouette, rounded fuselage, and retractable landing gear make it a particularly recognizable subject for a collection dedicated to 1930s aviation.
