ELASTIC RIGGING BOBBIN MEGA-THIN AK Interactive AK9134 is an elastic modelling thread presented on a spool, designed to represent rigging stays, cables and antennas with a fineness suited to very small scales. This reference is particularly recommended for ship antennas at 1/700 scale and for smaller scales.

Elastic thread for model detailing

The elastic thread makes it possible to create taut lines on aircraft, ships, science-fiction subjects or dioramas. Its elasticity makes application easier and helps achieve even tension, without having to use rigid thread.

The AK9134 spool can be handled with fine-tipped tweezers and glued with cyanoacrylate. After positioning, the excess can be cut off with a well-sharpened blade. The thread can also be coloured with an ink marker or silver paint, depending on the effect you want on the model.
