Transporter and Kombi in Europe, Kombi or Furgão in Brazil, Combi, Panel and Caravelle in Mexico, and Microbus in the United States and Canada – this historic and popular German van is now an icon of automotive history. It was used for decades for both military and civilian purposes and remains in service in many countries to this day.
This kit represents the bus version of the vehicle, manufactured in Germany from 1967 to 1971 – probably one of the most widely used variants. The kit includes emergency lights as well as a roof-mounted “Follow Me” light bar. The included decal sheet offers markings for four colorful vehicles, including airport buses featured in a well-known spy film from 1971.
The modeler can apply various changes and simple modifications to replicate different configurations as seen over the years in different countries or in civilian versions. This kit is suitable for building straight out of the box or for individual customization – offering a wide range of creative possibilities.
Main features of the kit:
– Over 170 plastic parts
– Detailed interior and engine
– All doors can be posed open
– Decals for 4 painting and marking options
