TRUE METAL DARK ALUMINIUM AK456 by AK Interactive is a metallic wax-based paint, designed for creating dark aluminum finishes on static model kits, figures, and decorative elements. Its 20 ml format is suitable for painting and detailing work that requires a metallic effect.

This Dark Aluminium shade can be applied with a brush, finger, or cotton swab. It can also be used with an airbrush after thinning with suitable white spirit. Surface preparation with a primer is recommended to help achieve an even finish.

After drying, the paint can be polished to enhance the metallic look. A full drying time of 48 hours is recommended for this wax-based formulation. The finish can then be protected with an acrylic varnish.

Application tips
