STREAKING GRIME AK012 by AK Interactive is an enamel-based aging product, supplied in a 35 ml bottle. It is designed to reproduce streaks of grime, vertical traces, and accumulations of dirt on static scale models.

Once dry, its tone delivers a primarily brown finish. It can be used to work on the sides of vehicles, aircraft surfaces, railway rolling stock, and many scenic elements, adding localized dirt variations.

Application

Shake the bottle before use. The streaks are applied with a fine brush in the form of irregular vertical lines. After a few minutes of drying, they can be blended using a flat brush lightly moistened with white spirit to soften the edges and create a more natural effect.

The product can also be applied into recesses, around raised details, or at the base of panels to suggest a build-up of grime. Working in thin layers allows you to gradually adjust the intensity of the weathering.
