PRECISION PANELINER – FRESH RUST 30 ml is an AK Interactive weathering product, reference AK12105, designed to accentuate the structure lines, recesses, rivets, and raised or engraved details of static scale models. Its fresh rust tone adds recent oxidation nuances and enhances the visibility of details on vehicles, aircraft, ships, robots, or decorative elements.

An enamel panel liner for detailing

The enamel-based formulation is designed to flow by capillarity into engravings and around small details, without unnecessarily covering large surfaces. The product helps to emphasize panel separations, hatches, bolts, rivet lines, and textured areas to give more depth to the finish.

The 30 ml bottle is fitted with a cap with a precision brush. Its fine tip makes it easy to apply the product starting from a structure line or into a recess, then capillarity spreads the tone along the detail.

Application on a model

The panel liner is used after painting, on a properly prepared surface. Apply a small amount of Fresh Rust into the lines and reliefs to be treated. Once the desired effect is achieved, excess can be removed with a brush lightly moistened with white spirit.

This fresh rust shade is suitable for weathering projects looking for subtle oxidation traces, well-defined seams, or exposed metal details. It can be integrated into a progressive weathering process, combined with other weathering effects appropriate to the subject being reproduced.

Complementary products
