Dark Earth AK GOUACHE 20 ml from AK Interactive, reference AKG05, is a gouache intended for weathering work and for creating textures on scale models and dioramas. Its dark earth shade makes it possible to reproduce the effects of dark ground or fresh soil, particularly on lower hull sections, running gear, tracks, scenery elements, and areas where material tends to accumulate.

The AK GOUACHE range combines opaque pigments with a water-based binder to achieve matte, covering layers. The paint can be thinned with water to modulate the intensity of the effects, from marked deposits to lighter veils. After drying, it can be reactivated with water to continue working, blend transitions, or adjust the weathering.

Dark Earth can be used on its own or combined with other earth tones to enhance variations in terrain. It is also suitable for creating textures on scenery, in combination with natural earth or plaster.

Before application, a clean surface promotes an even paint finish. A preparation using soapy water is suitable for removing residues that could interfere with paint adhesion.
