WWII Luftwaffe Tropical Colors SET - AK Interactive RCS104

WWII Luftwaffe Tropical Colors RCS104 is a set of Real Colors lacquer-based paints from AK Interactive, dedicated to the tropical camouflage shades used by the Luftwaffe during World War II. It brings together three colors intended for aircraft operating in the Mediterranean theater starting from spring 1941.

The kit includes the references RC946 RLM 78, RC947 RLM 79 and RC948 RLM 80, supplied in 18 ml bottles. RLM 78 was intended for the underside surfaces, RLM 79 for the upper surfaces, and RLM 80 for creating an additional disruptive camouflage on the upper surfaces.

These tropical shades are suitable for painting scale models of German aircraft from World War II featuring this type of camouflage. Some machines deployed on the Eastern Front also received these colors when they were painted at the factory according to this scheme.

The Real Colors paints in this set can be thinned with AK Interactive high-compatibility thinners RC701 or RC702, as well as with other thinners intended for lacquer-based paints. Careful surface preparation and the application of a suitable primer help ensure a consistent finish on plastic models.
