The reference AK11918 corresponds to AMT-12 Dark Grey, a shade used in the camouflage palettes of Soviet aircraft during the Second World War. It is notably among the colors intended for Soviet fighter aircraft employed from the summer of 1943.

This latest-generation paint can be applied with a brush or an airbrush. For clean work on a static model, it is recommended to prepare the parts, apply the color in thin coats, and allow it to dry between passes. A suitable primer also helps achieve an even finish on plastic, resin, or pre-primed photo-etched parts.
