The WWII Luftwaffe Late War Colors SET 3G set by AK Interactive, reference AK11718, brings together six 3rd Generation acrylic paints for coloring scale model aircraft of the Luftwaffe in the late stages of the Second World War.

This selection is built around camouflage shades used on German aircraft manufactured from the end of the summer of 1944 until the end of the conflict. It includes two interpretations of RLM 76 for the lower surfaces, including one late green-blue variation, as well as three versions of RLM 81 and one RLM 82 for the upper surfaces.

The included shades are particularly suitable for projects featuring Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D, Heinkel He 162, Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 and K-4, Messerschmitt Me 262, or Arado Ar 234 B/C.

For a smooth finish on a plastic model, surface preparation and applying a suitable primer will make painting easier. The RLM 76, RLM 81, and RLM 82 shades can then be worked with a brush or an airbrush as part of a late-war camouflage, before applying decals and completing weathering.
