The Minium Red 3GEN surface primer by AK Interactive AK11247 is a red minium acrylic surface primer supplied in a 100 ml bottle. It primes model kit surfaces before painting and is suitable for airbrush application as well as brush application.

Its self-levelling formula is designed to create an even coat while preserving the details of the plastic, resin, or other model-making materials. This primer offers strong adhesion and dries quickly. After 24 hours, the surface can be sanded if the preparation work requires it.

Water-soluble, this primer can be used directly or thinned depending on the application method chosen. It is recommended to shake the bottle well before use. For the airbrush, a suitable acrylic thinner can help adjust the fluidity.

The minium red shade is a useful base for projects requiring a coloured undercoat, before applying finishing paints, weathering effects, and patina.
