WAFFEN SS 44 DOT UNIFORM COLORS 3G is a set of AK Interactive acrylic paints, reference AK11623, designed for coloring scale figures wearing German Waffen-SS uniforms with Dot 44 camouflage, also known as “Pea Dot Pattern” or Erbsenmuster, from the Second World War.

The set brings together six shades from the 3rd Generation acrylic range intended to build the base colors, shadows, highlights, and camouflage patterns. This selection allows you to work the contrasts of the uniform, then reproduce the characteristic patches and dots of the Dot 44 pattern on model or gaming figures.

Application in scale modeling

Acrylic paints are suitable for brushwork on uniforms, equipment, and figures. Careful preparation of the parts and the application of a primer make the shades easier to read. The Dot 44 pattern is created progressively: base color, shadow and light nuances, then adding the different camouflage spots and dots with a fine brush.

The six references can be used separately or mixed to obtain tonal variations during painting and weathering. To preserve the sharpness of the sculpted details, it is recommended to apply several thin coats rather than one overly loaded coat.
