Construction Foam AK Interactive AK8098 is a set of two high-density blue foam boards designed for creating model scenery, vignettes, and dioramas. Each board measures 195 x 295 mm; the set combines two thicknesses, 6 mm and 10 mm.

This building material can be worked to make miniature terrain and architectural elements: walls, buildings, ruins, fences, paving, or reliefs. The foam can be cut to the desired shape with a craft knife, then sanded to fine-tune the contours and smooth the surface.

It is also suitable for carving and texture work. Sculpting tools or a texture roller make it possible to reproduce patterns of bricks, stone, or wood to enhance a scene. Any surface irregularities caused by cutting the foam can be reduced by sanding.

For assembling a scene, using white PVA glue is suitable. Before painting and weathering, applying an acrylic primer helps the following layers adhere better. This preparation provides a practical foundation for diorama projects, whether you’re creating a base, an urban scenery element, or a landscape structure.
