F-84E Thunderjet, 1/32 - Hobby Boss 83207

The F-84E Thunderjet Hobby Boss 83207 model kit recreates, in 1/32 scale, the American jet fighter-bomber Republic F-84E. The Republic F-84E Thunderjet

The F-84 Thunderjet was developed by Republic Aviation immediately after the war. Used by the US Air Force, it distinguished itself especially during the Korean War with ground-attack missions. The F-84E version belongs to the early straight-wing variants of this jet aircraft family, before the swept-wing versions arrived.

Its distinctive silhouette, with a frontal air intake, wingtip fuel tanks, and a broad tailplane, makes it a particularly interesting subject for a presentation dedicated to US military aviation of the 1950s.
