The Soviet air weapon loadout set ICM 72213 in 1/72 makes it possible to complete aircraft model kits with a selection of air-to-ground ordnance. It includes X-29T, X-31P and X-59M missiles, KAB-500Kr guided bombs, as well as B-13L and B-8M1 rocket pods/containers.

Designed for detailing aircraft from the Su-24M, Su-27/Su-30 and MiG-29 families, this set provides the elements needed to assemble four X-29T, four X-31P, four X-59M, eight KAB-500Kr, four B-13L, four B-8M1, an APK-9 container and AKU-58-1 launchers.

The X-29T, X-31P and X-59M missiles, as well as the KAB-500Kr, belong to the family of Soviet air-to-ground weapons developed during the second half of the 1980s. At a scale of 1/72, this set is an interesting basis for depicting the external carriage of a modern Soviet-origin fighter aircraft.

Assembly requires careful preparation of the small parts and the gluing surfaces. Separate painting of the missile bodies, tail units, containers and launchers generally makes it easier to achieve a clean finish. Applying a suitable primer, followed by fine paints and controlled weathering, helps bring out the details of this miniature ordnance.
