Tracks for LVT Family, 1/35 - Friulmodel ATL-105

The Friulmodel ATL-105 track links are a metal detailing set for scale models of the tracked amphibious vehicle family LVT at the 1/35 scale. This reference allows you to replace the tracks supplied in a plastic kit with individual articulated links.

The set includes 290 links in white metal, as well as two drive sprockets, two idler wheels, two holders and metal wire intended to form the articulation axles. Once assembled, the tracks remain movable, which makes it easier to fit them around the running gear and to reproduce a natural sag.

This type of accessory requires careful assembly: each link is connected to the next using an axle made with the wire provided. Deburring the parts, checking alignment, and cutting the axles evenly help achieve a clean and functional set.

The metal parts can be primed and then painted with suitable hobby products. Weathering—dust, mud, or wear effects—then allows you to blend the tracks into the overall finish of a military vehicle or diorama.
