Tracks for Turan, 1/35 - Friulmodel ATL-046

The Friulmodel ATL-046 track set is a 1/35 detailing accessory designed for Hungarian armoured vehicle models Turán and Zrínyi. It allows you to replace the tracks included in a plastic kit with articulated metal links.

The set reference includes 240 links as well as a wire intended to make the articulation pins/axles. Each link is assembled individually to form two movable track runs, whose flexibility makes it easier to position around the model’s road wheels and drive sprockets.

This type of assembly requires careful preparation of the parts and regular checks of the alignment of the axles. A fine cutting plier, a small file, or a hand drill can be helpful to prepare the links before assembly. The finished tracks can then be primed, painted and weathered using finishes suitable for a 1/35 military vehicle.
