ATOM WWII Japanese Cockpits Set – AMMO by MIG Jimenez ATOM-20939 is a set of four ATOM acrylic paints in 20 ml bottles, designed for coloring the cockpits of Japanese aircraft from the Second World War. The selected shades cover interior colors used on many Japanese aircraft, from the first years of the conflict to the final campaigns.

This set is aimed at scale modelers working on aircraft such as the A6M Zero, D3A Val, Ki-43 Oscar, Ki-84 Hayate or Ki-61 Hien. It avoids the need to prepare mixes for the main cockpit nuances and makes it easier to achieve a consistent look across the interior surfaces.

ATOM paints are water-based acrylics that can be applied with a brush or an airbrush. The formula is designed to ensure an even application, quick drying and good covering power. For airbrush use, AMMO by MIG Jimenez recommends adding 30% of Cleaner & Thinner ATOM-20500 or Cleaner & Thinner Retarder ATOM-20501.

Once dry, they allow the application of common scale model finishing products, such as acrylic paints, enamels and decal solutions. The clear 20 ml bottles feature a cap designed for one-hand opening and closing.
