The aluminium adhesive tape AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-8249 is a modelling accessory designed to reproduce metallic aluminium finishes. Supplied on a roll that is 5 mm wide and 10 m long, it is suitable for detailing and for creating metallic surfaces on static scale models.

Easy to handle, this self-adhesive aluminium strip can be darkened and then polished with very fine abrasives or polishing tools in order to vary the look of the finish. Its 5 mm width makes it easier to work on narrow parts, decorative strips, and vehicle bodywork or structural details.

Usage tips

A clean cut with a precision tool helps you achieve regular strips. The surface of the part must be clean before applying to ensure a neat installation. A darkener (burnisher) or a flexible tool can then be used to delicately mark the raised details and contours of the support.
