U-RUST Oxide Grime A.MIG-2256 is a 40 mL finishing product from the U-RUST range by AMMO by MIG Jimenez. It is designed to replicate opaque brown oxidation areas and pronounced oxide deposits on static model kits, vehicles, scenery elements and dioramas.

The U-RUST range is based on an oxidation process intended to create rust and corrosion effects. Oxide Grime lets you work with a brown-oxide tone suited to aged metal surfaces, areas exposed to the weather, or accumulations of oxidized grime.

The product can be applied with a brush, directly from the bottle, or by adding a small amount of water to adjust the application. It can be used on different model-making materials and surfaces. The Rust Reactor products from the U-RUST range help to activate the oxidation process and broaden the range of finishing shades.

For controlled results, prepare the surface carefully before application and work in successive layers. Oxidation effects can then be incorporated into a more complete patina, with traces of grime, variations in tone and ageing details tailored to the subject being reproduced.
