Asphalt Ground - AMMO by MIG Jimenez A.MIG-2107

Asphalt Ground A.MIG-2107 is a ready-to-use acrylic texture product developed by AMMO by MIG Jimenez to recreate asphalted surfaces for dioramas, vignettes, and display bases. This 250 ml jar lets you create a covering reminiscent of a road, street, parking lot, track, or any other paved area to scale.

Texture for asphalted diorama floors

Its acrylic formulation makes it easy to apply a realistic floor relief directly onto the chosen support. The product can be applied to both small and large areas using suitable tools for working with textures. It is ideal for creating scenery for scale models of military vehicles, automobiles, motorcycles, aircraft, or urban scenes.

The Asphalt Ground texture can be used on its own or mixed with other decorative materials, particularly pigments, to vary the look of the surface and blend the roadway into the diorama environment.

Application and finishing

Ready to use, this product can be shaped before drying. Once dry, light sanding helps refine the grain if a smoother finish is desired. Its acrylic base also allows dilution and cleaning with water.

AMMO by MIG Jimenez recommends use for scales between 1/16 and 1/48. The final result can then be enhanced with paint, pigments, washes, dust effects, or weathering effects specific to the depicted scene.
