Arid Dry Ground A.MIG-2100 by AMMO by MIG Jimenez is a ready-to-use acrylic texture designed to create dry, arid ground for dioramas, vignettes, and display bases. Supplied in a 250 ml jar, this product makes it possible to build up realistic terrain relief directly on the surface.

Diorama ground texture

Its color and appearance are intended to depict dried-out, parched terrain. The textured paste can be applied equally well to small areas or larger surfaces, to form a three-dimensional ground around a vehicle, a figure, a building, or any scene element.

The acrylic formulation can be combined with other scenery materials, including pigments, earth, or small natural elements, to vary the look of the terrain. After drying, the surface can be lightly sanded if you want to reduce the grain or fine-tune the resulting texture.

Application and finishing

Arid Dry Ground is suitable for scale modeling projects made between 1/16 and 1/72. The product thins with water and tools can also be cleaned with water. The finish is matte, ideal for representing dry ground.

For application, spread the texture onto a clean base using a spatula, an old brush, or a sculpting tool. You can shape the relief before it dries, then add paint, pigments, or vegetation to blend the ground into your chosen scene.
