Transparator A.MIG-2017 is a 60 mL water-based thinner developed by AMMO by MIG Jimenez for creating semi-transparent acrylic paint layers. It is used with AMMO acrylic paints and is also compatible with other acrylic paint brands.

This product helps reduce the opacity of a shade while preserving the quality and the paint’s finish appearance. It is suitable for brush application as well as airbrushing, especially for working with light veils, color superimpositions, and modulation effects on a static model.

Water-soluble, odorless and non-toxic, the Transparator is supplied in a 60 mL bottle with a stainless-steel agitator to make mixing easier. Shake/stir before use. Full drying is claimed to be 24 hours.
