F-14B/D Tomcat weighted wheels (HAS), 1/48 - Wheelliant 148.005

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a carrier-based fighter of the US Navy, recognizable by its variable-sweep wings. The F-14B and F-14D versions represent the late evolutions of this iconic aircraft. At 1/48 scale, the landing gear is a highly visible area, especially on a model displayed on tarmac, an aircraft carrier deck, or in a naval diorama.

The set includes the nose gear wheels and main gear wheels, with separate tires featuring a crushed effect to simulate the weight of the aircraft. Separate brake discs are also provided for the main wheels, along with a wire intended to represent the brake lines.
