Spitfire Mk.II exhaust for Revell, 1/32 - Quickboost QB32 168

The Quickboost QB32 168 is a resin detailing set dedicated to the Spitfire Mk.II exhausts in 1/32 scale. This part number is designed to complement the corresponding Revell kit and replace the exhaust outlets from the original kit.

The parts reproduce the two rows of side exhausts of the British fighter. They are molded with open ends to add depth to this highly visible area on the engine cowling of a large-scale assembled Supermarine Spitfire.

At 1/32 scale, each dimension of the real subject is reduced thirty-two times. This accessory therefore fits perfectly into a Revell Spitfire Mk.II project in the same format, whether displayed on its own or as part of a diorama scene.

As with any resin part, it is recommended to carefully separate the components from their casting block, then deburr and lightly sand the mounting points before installation. Bonding to a plastic model is typically done using cyanoacrylate glue or a suitable epoxy adhesive. Applying a primer layer will then make painting and finishing the exhausts easier.
