Kokusai Ta-Go, 1/72 - Brengun BRP72046
Expected release in September 2026.
Kokusai Ta-Go, 1:72 from the manufacturer Brengun to scale 1/72 reference BRP72046The Kokusai Ta-Go Brengun BRP72046 is a Japanese aircraft model kit to assemble at 1/72. Made from injection-moulded plastic, it reproduces the Kokusai Ta-Go, a project aircraft developed in Japan during the last months of the Second World War.
The Ta-Go stands out for its deliberately simple design, conceived in the context of Japan’s special attack programs in 1945. Its stripped-down look and lightweight structure make it an original subject for a collection devoted to Japanese Second World War aviation, as well as to unusual prototypes and aircraft.
At a scale of 1/72, each dimension of the real aircraft is reduced 72 times. This scale makes it easy to display the model alongside other military aircraft while still preserving a detailed representation of its characteristic shapes.
Building a plastic kit requires the usual static modelling steps: carefully separating parts from the sprues, removing mold lines (deburring), gluing, and preparation before painting. Applying a primer can help with colouring and reveal any touch-ups that may need to be done before finishing. Decals are best applied to a smooth, glossy surface, and can then be protected with a suitable varnish.
