Burnt Umber / Brown Wash AK Interactive AKABT006 is an ABT502 oil paint intended for painting and weathering static model kits. This burnt umber brown, with a neutral and dark tone, is available in a 20 ml tube.

Used alone or mixed with other oil colors, it helps to nuance sand, yellow, and light brown shades, while also enhancing volumes and contrast on accessories, vehicles, figures, aircraft, ships, or model scenery elements. Its color is particularly suitable for creating washes, shading, blending effects, and patina effects.

The ABT502 range is formulated with a reduced oil content to promote more matte finishes. Oil paints offer a working time suitable for blending and gradients, making it possible to gradually adjust the intensity of the effects on a surface painted and protected with an appropriate varnish.

For scale modeling, application can be done with a brush in a localized coat or thinned with a suitable product for oil paints. Careful wiping then allows you to preserve the color in recesses, around raised details, or on areas where you want to accentuate contrast.
