The Sanding Stick Set AK Interactive AK9179 is a set of abrasive sticks for sanding and polishing in static scale modelling. It allows you to work on plastic parts, prepare surfaces before painting, and refine the finish between different stages of assembly.

The set includes five abrasive tools: a coarse stick, a medium stick, a fine stick, an extra-fine stick, and a Tri-Stick. The different grits make it possible to move from more intensive sanding to a progressive, finer finish. The abrasion level can be identified by the color of the sticks.

The Tri-Stick features three distinct abrasive zones, useful for chaining multiple finishing steps on the same part. These precision sticks are particularly suitable for removing sprue marks, cleaning up glue lines, sanding filler, and preparing a surface before primer or paint.
