OLD & WEATHERED WOOD VOL2 - AK Interactive AK11674

OLD & WEATHERED WOOD VOL2 is a set of acrylic paints from AK Interactive’s 3rd Generation range, referenced AK11674. It brings together six shades designed to reproduce old, worn and weathered wood on scale models, figures, decorative elements and dioramas.

The selection combines greys, a brown and burnt earth to work on the tones of wood exposed to the weather. These colors make it possible to create subtle variations, suitable for boards, structures, crates, furniture, palisades, or other wooden accessories at scale.

In static scale modeling, the look of aged wood becomes more realistic thanks to the application of thin layers and the variation of tones between the different pieces. Brushwork helps to highlight the direction of the wood grain, while patina effects can further enhance the appearance of an old material or one exposed to the elements.

Volume 2 can be paired with the set Old & Weathered Wood Vol1 to expand the range dedicated to wood-effect finishes.
