Black Primer 100 ml 3GEN AK Interactive AK11242 is a black acrylic primer designed to prep static model kits, figures, and scenic elements before painting. Supplied in a 100 ml bottle, it is part of AK Interactive’s 3GEN range.

Its self-levelling formula can be used with an airbrush or a brush. The primer creates a uniform black base on the parts and improves adhesion for the following layers of paint. Suitable for the different surfaces used in model making.

Shake the bottle carefully before use. The product dries quickly and can be sanded after 24 hours of drying. Applying thin coats helps preserve surface details, panel lines and raised features of the parts.

Black makes an excellent base for vehicles, aircraft, figures, displays, or sub-assemblies whose finish requires dark tones, metallic shades, or progressive shadow work. A primer also helps to even out the appearance of the parts before painting.
