The T-34/85 is an evolution of the Soviet T-34 equipped with an 85 mm gun and an enlarged turret. At 1/35 scale, this Aber set is specifically made for the corresponding Tamiya reference and enables you to work on the tank’s exterior detailing.

Assembly and preparation

This improvement set requires careful preparation of the plastic kit parts and precise shaping of the detailing elements. The instructions include, in particular, certain operations for replacing or modifying parts of the original model.

For metal assemblies, the use of cyanoacrylate glue is indicated. Soldering can also be used to assemble metal elements. Some assembly steps involve metal wire and plastic rods of different diameters, to be prepared according to the instructions.

A fine side cutter, a modeling blade, tweezers, and a suitable bending tool make it easier to handle the small parts. A primer compatible with metal surfaces will then help achieve an even paint finish before weathering and aging.
