Black Pearl, 1/150 - Revell 05499

The Black Pearl Revell 05499 is a plastic model kit to assemble at 1/150 scale, depicting the famous pirate ship of Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean saga. Built using the Revell Easy-Click system, it assembles by slotting together molded, colored parts, with no glue required.

At this scale, the completed model measures 260 mm in length and 235 mm in height. It consists of 112 parts and recreates the distinctive silhouette of the Black Pearl with its sails, rigging, and many decorative elements.

The included details include, in particular, decks with a wooden structure, textured sails, anchors, a launch boat, cannons, stays, a figurehead, a decorated stern, flags, and a display stand. The decoration is completed with decals.

The Easy-Click system makes it possible to build a naval model without using glue. Painting is not necessary for assembly, but the modeler may add it to personalize the ship’s appearance, enhance the contrast of the wood, sails, and hull, or create a more advanced weathered finish.
