The British Fleet Air Arm Avenger Mk 1 Hobby Boss 80331 is a military aircraft model kit to be assembled at 1/48. The Avenger is a three-seat embarked torpedo bomber originally developed in the United States under the designation Grumman TBF. TBF and TBM aircraft were used by the British naval aviation under the name Avenger Mk I, both in the Atlantic and Pacific theatres. Its massive silhouette, large crew compartment, and defensive turret make it a particularly representative subject of Allied carrier-based aircraft from the 1939-1945 period.
